Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country musician and singer born in America. After the release of two singles as well as an album entitled Satisfied in 2007, she formed a band named Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert and released her 2nd album titled Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of the village of Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years experience as a public servant, which includes almost five years as the an Deputy City Manager within Iowa City. The position she is in now an Assistant Village manager. She has a variety of responsibilities which include managing the Community Development and Building Department in charge of grants and special projects. Ashley's job in Riverside is to aid in the daily operations of the village's services and carry out the strategy laid out by elected officials. Ashley's duties include municipal planning budgeting and management of personnel as well as collective bargaining. Ashley also focuses on environmental initiatives. Ashley's work with national agencies as well as working with communities that have different populations has given her insights into how organizations that are of any size function.
